Our Training Programs

Since inception, one of our most important activities has been to conduct training programs on literature searching across the country, with the aim of bridging the lacuna in this area of medical education.

We ideally recommend that you become an Institutional Friend so that we can work together over an extended period of time.

We also understand that geographical distance and budget planning can be factors that will take time for an institution to work around. You can start by requesting for training programs in your institution. Our training programs will help you build your skills in literature searching and referencing

Currently, we offer training in the following: 

1. Pubmed - Basics  : Download details and fill up the form
2. Pubmed - Advanced: for those who have completed the Pubmed - basics program

We will shortly be coming up with modules on the following:

1. Cochrane library
2. Other sources of evidence
3. Reference management tools
4. Critical appraisal skills

Currently we do not offer training programs for individuals. Do check out our 'Friends of QMed Program' for individuals. We provide access to our training module and offer short tutorials through email and Skype
